There has been an explosion in referrals for adult ADHD assessment over the last 5 years, with long waiting lists (up to 10 years in some parts of the UK) and no ADHD-specific treatments available to patients prior to diagnosis.

We aim to address this with a new digital treatment that patients can access as soon as they are referred by their GP, with the aim of improving executive function, increasing focus and reducing impulsivity through immersive mixed-reality digital treatments, at a low cost to the NHS relative to current therapies.

This treatment is designed such that it can also be used as an adjunct in patients already diagnosed with ADHD either with or without pharmacological treatment and builds upon existing research on gamified treatments and recent research to deliver positive changes for patients in their everyday lives.
